HANSTAR is pleased to announce the successful acquisition and commissioning of three advanced 5-axis machining centers from HERMLE: C42U, C62U, and C62UMT. This strategic investment marks a significant milestone in strengthening our high-precision manufacturing capabilities and further reinforces our commitment to serving demanding industries such as aerospace, automation, and high-end equipment manufacturing.
The newly installed machines feature a maximum machining travel of up to 1200 mm and are capable of achieving an exceptional machining accuracy of ±0.002 mm. With the integration of these state-of-the-art 5-axis systems, HANSTAR is now better equipped to handle complex geometries, tight tolerances, and multi-surface machining in a single setup—significantly improving efficiency, consistency, and overall production quality.
The C62UMT model further enhances our capabilities by combining milling and turning functions within one platform, enabling more flexible and efficient processing of intricate components while reducing lead times.
